We value partnerships; we believe that families, whanau and the role the community play a vital role in the life of children. We strive to consult and collaborate with families about their chilren's learning and development.
Teachers are able to discuss progress, or answer any queries that you may have, please feel free to speak wtih your child's teacher at pick up or drop off time.
VISITS PRIOR TO STARTING
We encourage visits prior to starting. For a full time child Three, one hour visits over a two week period allow time for you and your child to settle into the centre. Get to know our routines and staff. This gives you an opportunity to see how the environment works, enables you to ask questions of the staff and for your child to become comfortable in their new surroundings.
WHAT TO BRING:
A school bag with three named changes of clothing for a ‘fun’ day at the centre, a named hat. We provide morning and afternoon tea, parents are to supply a lunchbox for lunchtime. You are welcome to send along food that needs to be heated we can accommodate this for you. Please be aware this is a nut free centre.
If your child sleeps you are welcome to bring in a special blanket or cuddly to help them settle at sleep.
We are happy to help with toilet training, please speak to a supervisor regarding this process.
